My name is Adrienne. I would like to welcome you to the Milky Roots website. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and most importantly a mother of two. I was born and raised in the Northern California Bay Area.

After having & breastfeeding my own two children I became passionate about lactation. I enjoyed speaking about breastfeeding and helping my friends & family with feeding their littles. I then realized I wanted to professionally support other growing families on their own feeding journeys. I soon set my sights on becoming an IBCLC and returned to school. I received my certification through the University of California San Diego.

In addition to my lactation studies, I have also trained as a Certified Postpartum Doula through the CAPPA organization to have a deeper understanding and further knowledge to support the needs of new and growing families.

My goal as a lactation consultant is to work as a team with my clients and their providers. I strive to stay up to date on current research and the latest recommendations in lactation. Whichever stage you are in with your feeding journey, I am looking forward to the opportunity to support you and your family in helping you achieve your feeding goals.
